The Truma Frost Control Kit (Standard Fittings) is an automatic safety/drain valve system designed to protect your caravan or motorhome’s hot water system from frost damage and over-pressure. It monitors ambient temperature and water pressure, and will silently discharge the boiler or water container when necessary - giving you peace of mind on winter trips or when leaving your vehicle unattended. 

Features

  • Automatic frost protection: The valve opens automatically if the ambient temperature around it falls to approximately 3 °C, draining the boiler or water system to prevent frozen pipes or damage
  • Over-pressure relief: In addition to frost protection, the system also functions as a current-free safety/drain valve, opening intermittently under over-pressure conditions (system pressure up to 4.5 bar)
  • Manual drain option: There’s a push-button/manual operation so you can drain the system yourself when required
  • Standard fittings - 10 mm flexible pipe: This version is supplied with fittings for 10 mm pipe systems and hose-clamp to secure the connection. The kit contains the FrostControl valve (2.8 mbar / 10 mm) and a hose clamp

For orders under £100 there is a £5.99 shipping charge
For all next day orders there is a £9.99 shipping charge

Returns Policy

If you're not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt via Royal Mail. Though please note that we charge £3 for returns that are not faulty and the £3 will be deducted from your refund. Only damaged parts will have a full refund and return postage paid for.
